Child Protection
All teachers working in schools for LM Stage School must comply with the Child Protection Policy and Code of Behaviour.
Teachers are informed that upon arrival at a school they may be provided with a document that they must sign, which will confirm that they agree to comply with the policy and follow the Code of Behaviour.
It is highlighted that the form must be read, discussed, signed and handed to the Headteacher, head of service or other designated person before any teacher under takes any duties in the school/establishment. We have produced a sample copy of a Child Protection/Safeguarding document which teachers are encouraged to read.
We can also provide teachers with the full DfES document “Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education”. In all matters of child protection, the welfare and safety of the child is the paramount consideration.
